Week 2.
Activity 2: Dear Jacinda
For this activity write a letter to Jacinda Ardern about
and issue that you have chosen a write a compelling letter
in the hope that she might fix it.
Whats you issue?
Why did you chose this issue?
Here is my letter:
Dear Jacinda Ardern, I am supposed to write a letter about an issue in the hope that you can solve it. I know for this paticular issue that its a little late but maybe for next time. If we ever have a covid-19 again before we go into quarintine maybe provide single parents with young children with like a babysitter. Because I keep hearing from my mum when she goes out to go to the supermarket that there's maybe one lady with a baby strapped to her and everyone in lines harassing her and trying to pick a fight, and that sometimes she cant even go inside. I feel that as our prime minister that you should do something about this in the hope if we ever have a covid-19 again that people will respect each other. I've chosen this issue because I have a single mother but luckily we have my Nana and Grandad next door and we are one big bubble. But if they weren't next door I know mum would feel fine if I was watching my brother but if it was just my brother at home Mum wouldn't feel safe leaving him at home. So if we ever have a covid-19 again maybe assign special volenteer's to single parents with young children.
Thank you, from Georgia Swale
