Summer Learning Journey
Week 1.
Activity 3: Scaling new heights
Choose a charity you are interested in?
Write a short explanation about what the charity doe's.
For my charity I choose Cancer Society! I have a emotion weak point to cancer, my Grandmother had a very rare cancer. The Doctor said it was like icing sugar sprinkled all over her brain. My Grandmother died of this rare cancer before I was born so I never got to meet her, or even see what she looked like.
I wonder what type of rare cancer she had?
Here is my short explanation of what the Cancer Society doe's:
The Cancer Society looks after, supports and provides comfort assistance to anyone with cancer. They know they cant cure you yet, but they try to get you relaxed comfortable, happy and feel totally safe!
The Cancer Society is an independent charity, and is not funded by the Goverment. They rely on community and personal support, such as donations, bequsts, volenteering and help fundraising events such as rely for life and daffadail day!
What charity would you support?
Why would you support that charity?
Thank you for reading ⚘
