Activity 2: Printing Prosthetics
Watch this video How 3-D-Printed Prosthetic Hands Are Changing These Kids’ Lives | Short Film Showcase and tell us one thing you learned from watching this video and one thing that suprised you.
One thing that suprised you:
1. How 3-D printing isn't just used to make decorative objects such as key chains, little knick knacks and much more, but can make like a robotic arm or hand.
One thing that I learned:
1. That there are a bunch of global volenteers that are using 3-D printer and 3-D design software to to make prosthetics for children or adults who are missing fingers hands and wrists and their giving them away for free!
